Taking Steps to End Cancer
The Light The Night Walk is a fundraising campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their funding of research to find blood cancer cures.

Coming together for a common goal, friends, families and co-workers form fundraising walk teams. Millions of consumers also help by donating at retail outlets. Culminating in inspirational and memorable evening walks every fall, participants in nearly 200 communities across North America join together carrying illuminated lanterns to take steps to end cancer.
It’s about Funding Research
Nationally, Light The Night participants raise an average of $250. Raise $1,000 or more to become a member of our Bright Lights Club. Together, Bright Lights Club members raised more than $17.2 million last year in support of our mission. Join the club that is funding cures today and you will receive special recognition! Light the Night is an inspirational community event that raises awareness and funding for groundbreaking research and treatment options to eliminate cancer.
Help us bring light to the darkness of cancer Sunday, Oct. 16 at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis! Experience NEW festivities including a food truck row, kids glow zone and glam station, a shining light selfie station, live music and much more!
From The Depot we will walk to the historic Stone Arch Bridge, cross the Mississippi River, then head back to The Depot. We will illuminate the Stone Arch Bridge and Minneapolis skyline with thousands of red, white and gold lanterns. The entire walk route is approximately 1.5 miles and is wheelchair accessible.
Become a Champion for Cures by individually raising $100 or more. Or shoot for the stars and raise $1,000 to become a Bright Lights Club member.
